I am looking forward to buy a treadmill in chennai. Please suggest me a treadmill buying tips and better place to buy a treadmill in chennai. My budget is 20000 to 30000 rupees.

2. Make sure it is foldable
3. Look for minimum one year warranty.
4. Look for life time service and service centres in all major cities. Get the booklet of service centre addresses.
5. For runners look for motor speed of 1.5 to 2hp (horse power)
I know a shop in Doshi garden, vadapalani. Its Victory sports and they have basic model (Aerofit) - 19,500
and another model at 27,000 Rs.
In polluted cities like chennai, mumbai, delhi, kolkatta, bangalore treadmill is always good rather than going for a walk or jog in roadside and consuming polluted air.

I bought a basic model. My husband weight is 74kg and basic model suits for him.
The logic is when run your weight is more and basic model cant hold more than 80kg. So, for people upto 74 kg weight, basic model is ok., It costs around 21,000 Rs. Also make sure you are 74 kg you dont put 6 km/hour while you run.
Because speed increases weight on machine while you run.
My husband do 4km/hour for 15 minutes and 6km/hour for 10 minutes. With 4 km/hour you can do speed walk and with 6 km/hour you can do medium jogging.
